Biggest bunch of jobsworth, power hungry, bullied at school dickheads i have ever witnessed.
Back of block eleven last night couple of hundred local kids who probably never get to see Arsenal usually, standing, singing, supporting the team and what happens? Stewards start slinging them out.
These lads have got more passion for Arsenal in their little finger than most of the divs who usually fill our ground and the club treat them like fucking criminals. And Arsene Wenger wonders why our ground is like a morgue ever week
Was going to start a thread myself. The stewards acted like a bunch of dicks kicking people whilst allowing the scousers in the other corner to stand for the whole game.
I did not sit in that block but saw everything that happened.
As a steward I am getting fucked off with these types of threads....I am sorry you believe ALL stewards are crunts but I can assure you I have been a steward since 1993 and LOVE my club and do everything within my job to ensure that the punters have a good day at the game.
I worked on North Bank Lower Rear at Highbury and in all the years I was there not once had a complaint. In fact some supporters wrote to the club so that my colleague and I could come over to the new ground with them...even though we all knew it would never happen.
I work on club level 81 and all the punters in my area have never had an issue with me, any situations that are difficult are dealt with in the correct manner and NO ONE had ever complained.....even our DB10 can back that up......
I work as a steward because I cannot afford a season ticket, let it be known that if I could afford one I'd be there....
So please stopping slagging off ME because by saying that ALL stewards are dickheads...you are saying I am one too......

Then if a steward openly kicked a punter report it to the club, because I tell you this...if I witnessed any steward "kicking" a punter I'd make sure they were dealt with. Please do it, because by saying what you have said....you are suggesting that I GO kicking punters......I would never dream of doing that!
Nobody was slaging you off all that was said was the stewards in block 12 acted like idiots by kicking people out because they we're singing and jumping up and down.
And why do stewards tell people in the back row to sit down even if nobody is next to them or infront of them.
Its a shame we don't have more stewards like yourself who actually support arsenal.

I have been a "Gooner" since 1978 and LOVE my club, when I can I go to away games and am as fervant in my support than any other "Gooner".
And let it be known that all the stewards I work with are staunch Gooners too....it really is funny how so many of you guys spot the things that go on and NEVER report the good work we do....but its ok, we are stewards we are allowed to be insulted and called the names you and the otehr cronies on this site come out with.

Why don't you have a word with you pals and tell them to stop behaving like little hitlers.
I am afraid that in my, and many other peoples opinion, our stewards are on a mission to stop any fun that there is in going to see Arsenal and are killing what atmosphere there is in the ground.
So i'm afraid your all going to get tarred with the same brush.

That is your opinion and therefore I shall act accordingly if I ever get teh pleasure of having you sitting in my section....with quick kick off my jack boot...I shall man handle you and scream vitrolic abuse at you for having the audacity to sing "Arsene Wenger's Magic"...and remove you from the stadium.
I take great pride in my job, I cannot control the behaviour of 900 of my "pals" as much as you cannot control the behaviour of 60,000 other people!!!

We don't even need 900 stewards. It's time some of the more hands on ones are shipped out.
And as Sammy said the only way we can take back the club is if we report the stewards on a power trip. Numerous threads on here suggest there is a major problem but we all should take action when we see this sort of crap.

But for a youth cup game the stewards could let off and thats the problem some stewards have no common sense what would happen if they allowed someone to stand at the back (as they do at every ground) during a youth cup game? nothing
