I think we need to clear up the issue of those on here that do not appear to totally support Wenger.(and I can include myself in that group)
I honestly don't think anyone on here is essentially anti-Wenger. We all realise what he has done for this club. The problem we all have is that we don't actually know the truth regarding the finances available. I don't believe anyone here would call for his head if it became clear that there definitely is no money.
The problem when you have mixed messages coming from the club is that confusion reigns and people naturally want to point a finger at someone when things go wrong.
Even Wenger himself hinted about the mixed messages recently.
The board could lift all the pressure from him by openly saying "We have no money to spend".
So why don't they??????

Exactly right Spuddy. If we have no money to spend then i doubt there is anyone better than Wenger to run things right now but if there is money to spend but he wont because of this "project" bollocks that ive heard banded around then his time might be up.SPUDMASHER wrote:I think we need to clear up the issue of those on here that do not appear to totally support Wenger.(and I can include myself in that group)

When board members say there is money to spend and Wenger isnt spending who do you believe?
My ideal is Wenger to stay and we spend money and buy experienced players in key areas

I don't think it the boards style to come out and say such things. Which is annoying as it make Wenger the scapegoat for some.
Publically saying 'we're skint' could have a more negative effect then currently staying quiet.
Players like Cesc, Theo and Ashavin may question the clubs ambition with no money and want further signings to boost the club and their ambition.
We've already seen a few players speak out and ask for experience siginings this summer.
If there's no money then it could cause an exodus.
Also players may not want to join a club that (for the time) is in financial trouble.

Yes, I will. And all that self praise is no praise bollocks is well over rated. It feels good to see good things in print about yourself even if you did write them yourself.ds wrote:Dear god, blow your own trumpet why dont you?Number 5 wrote:I like Adams.Radford149 wrote:Radford thinks TA is just a nut. he rambles for the sake of speaking and Radford believes he should go back to drinking. he's a BORE
He is a straight shooter. Just like me. Telling it how it is 24/7.

Yep, we both aren't afraid to admit in print that we wet the bed after a heavy night drinking.flash gunner wrote:and a pisshead?Number 5 wrote:I like Adams.Radford149 wrote:Radford thinks TA is just a nut. he rambles for the sake of speaking and Radford believes he should go back to drinking. he's a BORE

And if you are looking for more comparisons, ask any of the Online Gooner XI and you'll hear I'm a fine centre half too.
