gigs

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Raves from the grave :D .....

10cc
Billy Ocean
Rod Stewart
Small Faces
JIMMY HENDRIX :D fucking WHAT? He was a GOD!!!
Steeleye Span
The Hollies
Sarah Brightman (don't blame me, mrs number four likes her, and she was very good actually)
Jethro Tull (not a concert, Ian Anderson lived near to me so I went to rehearsals)
Level 42
Slade

If you like eighties music, go see one of the Here and Now tours. All the old boys and girls reform bands (or go solo). I've seen a few tours, which have included.....
Kim Wilde
Human League (Phil Oakey, totally bald :D )
Bucks Fizz (yeah, I know. But it's rather good when the skirts get ripped off :D )
Living in a Box
Paul Young
Limahl
Heaven 17
Haircut 100
Thompson Twins
and many others.
These guys really enjoy themselves. Because they miss the old days. They really appreciate having the chance to perform again. And it comes across to the audience.

I've seen some videos of him play when Maiden had the band/roadie footy team back in the 80's and 90's. Looked a good player. How did you get invited CC?

I used to work for Trace Elliot (bass amps) and we had a footy team, do did they and we used to get invited couple times a year to his place in Essex. Its about 3 miles from where I work now and he has a pub in the grounds called "The Cart Horse"!
Big West Sham fan, they played in the kit, and very competitive player! in the mid 90's Oasis's crew got invited and as a result we got shit loads of adidas kit free including predator boots which at the time was a nice freebie!! :barscarf:
