Funniest / unusual Arsenal Goals
1 For and 1 against
For - Henry off his Knee against Fulham (h) running in and just bounced off him! Close second was Alex Song in the 6-3, he just slapped it in with his hand im sure of it !!
Against - Lauren v Man City, right foot curl around Lehmann! Very early in the game, just burst out laughing - at a time where you knew we'd pull it back, and we did - 2-1!
Thoughts?

That should have been a foul, Sinclair(if I remember correctly) clearly pushed Lauren. Bastard!Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:1 For and 1 against

Against Southampton, wasn't it? - oh, I can't remember either!franksav63 wrote:Against.... I can only think off, instantly, Lee Dixon's own goal at Highbury, chipped it over Seaman.... Was it against Coventry? My memory is getting worse...
EDIT: you were right, Franky... just checked; Coventry in '91

Probably true, but maybe Ljungberg should have pushed him in the back everytime he went forward, it was a lovely finish haha!GunnerDude wrote:That should have been a foul, Sinclair(if I remember correctly) clearly pushed Lauren. Bastard!Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:1 For and 1 against

Talking of Platty, was anyone on here at Highbury the night Kevin Cambell ran through the Villa keeper and Platty had to go in goal wearing one of Spunky's spare shirts.brandon the gooner boy wrote:did david platt score one from about a yard out bounced off his chest and went in, cant find it on youtube but one of the first arsenals goals i can remember, must have only been bout 5 or 6 at the time.
The shit Platty got off us that night was incredible. I can clearly remember singing: 'You'll never play for Arsenal!!!'
Oh how things change
