KARIM BENZEMA to arrive?

also, how have we suddenly found loads of money. last week were struggling with a 13m transfer budget, now suddenly weve got 30m for ribery and 25m for benzema.

thats 55m for players that play positions we dont need :banghead:

Yeah, sorry, I got a bit carried away, we will not be signing a top player, especially someone that a team with real money wants!

Radford believes that we will sign some players but the press will not get their predictions right. he also believes that these players will be less high profile players.

even if these stories are somehow true (which i strongly doubt) i wouldnt want benzema. whenever ive seen him for france he looks nothing special. hes just had an average season in the french league, which is a crappy league. id value him at about 15m at most

If we sign Benzema or David Villa for that matter, I'd eat my hat.

These players are too good / expensive, for us.

Actually it was The Times that ran the story first not NOTW. All in all, I hope we do not sell that twat until we are sure we can get Ben because knowing our record so far we may not get a replacement.

The only way Benzema will arrive will be if we get the equivalent sum for the useless, lazy, can't understand the offside rule bloke who plays up front at the moment. We simply don't have that sort of money to chuck about.

I also doubt this is true, but he is only 21. i can see in some games he perhaps doesn't look special, but he seems to get the nodd ahead of eiether henry or anelka in the national team. Last year for lyon he scored 23 goals in 47 apps :?: From what i have seen he is a great finisher, quick and his build would suit the premier league. With the creative players we already have i would be over the moon if we were to get rid of ade and replace him with benzema, i would be confident he would be capable to score us 20 goals and we would also have a top striker who is only 21.

Well it looks like it aint going to happen now because if Citeh get Eto'o we all know Ben is more likely to chose Barca over us. :banghead:
Oh well, that was fun for a min.
Btw Projoe, Benzema is the only player that can take the "Next Henry" tag and run with it. His goal against Man.U alone should show his ability to try individual things i.e make something out of nothing.

Silly season for football journalists.

Nothing to report. Drag up old rumours. Sprinkle liberally with bullshit. File copy. Go home early.
