Did the ankle in...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Did the ankle in...

Post by DB10GOONER »

Yep - in a shit mood. Got chopped down playing footy on Saturday, ankle up like a balloon. Went to the hospital yesterday and had scans X-Rays etc.

Turns out I pulled the ligament away from the bone and a few "fragments" of bone went with it.

NO FOOTBALL FOR 2 MONTHS MINIMUM!!! :( :banghead:

And I've the joys of physio/torture to look forward to...

Although the Zydol is helping... :whee: :ihh:

Get her Xrayed - could be broken or torn ligaments or tendons. Shouldn't still be swollen 2 months later... :?

She was xrayed when it happened and they said there was nothing...although at the time she told them she needed an MRI and they ignored this and wouldn't do it.  :banghead: :banghead: MRI needed methinks  :x

The physio is actually worse than the initial injury.....

I broke my ankle and leg in November last year, still getting physio now and its more painful than the breaks and afterwards surgery!!!!

you will be back playing in no time DB10.
