If Paddy does go to Spurs...
If Paddy does go to Spurs...
I've been having a debate at work about this.
Obviously none of us want to see him go to Spurs, but if he did, how would you treat him?
For me, after all those years of top service, it would take more than seeing him in a white shirt to make me dislike the man. Maybe the word "legend" is a bit too much, and is used far too often these days, but he is certainly one of the best of my generation.
If he ever does play against us, he will get the loudest cheer and applause from me, whoever he is playing for!

I think we should prove we are a bit classier than the scum by mildly applauding him. Lets face it they would see this as revenge for Sol Campbell but if we show we are not bothered that would irritate them more as they would know that they are no longer relevant.
However, if no one agrees with that then I am happy to go with flow and boo the fucker.

Much as I don't want it to be true, it looks like there is more to this story than just rumour according to the latest quotes from Redknapp.
Would Patrick really risk losing a lot of the respect he gained as an Arsenal legend by joining Spurs?
Regardless of whether you believe he is past it or not, could you really stomach the sight of Paddy with a chicken on his chest?

HARRY REDKNAPP is ready to risk infuriating Tottenham fans by signing Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.
Spurs' boss last night revealed the Frenchman, 33, wants to quit Inter Milan to join him at White Hart Lane.
Redknapp said: "Patrick wants to come to us and that says an awful lot about the man and his character.
"He wants to come here for the challenge not the money, because he would probably earn a third of what he is on at Inter.
"I am very interested in signing him. I don't know where we are with the deal at the moment, but Patrick is very keen."
Redknapp's priority is signing defenders to cover for injured trio Ledley King, Jon Woodgate and Michael Dawson.
And Redknapp has also been trying to land a striker all summer.
But he is also in the market for a defensive midfielder and has no reservations about signing Vieira, who was a hero at Spurs' bitter North London rivals for a decade.
Asked how Spurs fans would welcome the former Gunners skipper, Redknapp said: "They'd love him.
"He was an Arsenal legend and now he wants to play for us.
"What's wrong with that? It's not like he has murdered someone."
