As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
so says aw,, good strong game 2nite,, great goal,, gael outstandin at left back,, stronger defence,, midfield missin cesc and rvp a bit hotheaded but overall i think we can be happy,, bring on the season proper ps.. 3rd strip is grown on me and where unbeaten in it haha
Again Arsene is not ruling out further activity in the transfer market. Pleased as I am with the pre season double I still believe we need to be strengthened with a couple more quality signings if we are to be serious about hunting down silverware.
I know I am going over old ground but I am sure most of you agree with that, don't ya
Think we had a good run out in the Emirates cup and the Ams tournament. Played some quality sides instead of going to the different corners of the world playing against weak teams for self promotion. Werent at our best in some of these games but still managed to win, something that we will have to do in the league this year as well. All in all excelent preparation, the two trophies are just icing on the cake.
As far as the transfer goes, though Arsene decided to keep mum about it, im not really sure if he is going to get someone this late. He mentioned all the central midfielders we had and said theres depth in the side (i hope he means for the middle of the park only), he probably was trying to lighten the Diarra rumours.
