It wasn't my cup of tea & it was my first summer one at the Emirates
Went to the Highbury one which i loved but this one was very quiet & was kinda gutted that the whole upper tier was used like last summer
It was slient today as you expect but that must of been why i din't enjoy it
As i've said & i'll say it again i'd rather go to a home match full of normal Gooners insted of being in total slience

The new shirt was out today (a special treat for us to buy it early!), although there was a queue to get in the Armoury so we didn't bother. Will be back there again on Sunday!
It was a quiet affair (yes no atmostphere and no songs, just like last season), but promising to see the players in good spirits.
Like last year there was no real player/fan interaction although we were waved at a couple of times and Gunnersaurus came over at the end.
Also disappointed that the doors opened half an hour late but the training started on time so we missed the first 15 minutes!! :?

I think Kolo is the skipper as he was interviewd at the members day i went to today & asked a couple of questions like How is the team going to cope with the loss with Henry, Can we win the prem (which got everyone exited esp me when he said yes) etc
He was also asked how did it feel like to pose with the captains armband for the first time & replyed thay it is amazing to be able to be Arsenal's captain
Thats what i think he said as the most noise came out the end of the event when most of the time it was a dead Emirates around
If he is the new skipper then i'm happy for him but suprised TBH whoever gets it but we need one by Sunday with 3 good players in the frame
With Gilberto away on hoilday it is hard to decide the captain for Arsenal with Willy possible in place as vice captain with him being the man lifting two trophies for Arsenal over the summer
Good luck for the season for whoever gets the armband as it's always gonna be hard to fill the role of all them greats skips over the years such as Adams & Vieria

Yes wengerknow that is what was said. As stats said they asked him about the captains armband and he was the only player interviewed.
Maybe he is captain until Gilberto is match fit?

I went and it werent all that . Lehmann did made some blinding saves when the other keepers were throwing the ball at the goal from close range. Couldnt hear the interview with Kolo very well so I dont know if it was confirmed. But I did hear the word Captain in the interview !

I went last year, but it was shit (although I got to look around the stadium early, which was nice). Glad to hear it was a bit better this year. Interesting stuff about King Kolo being captain. If that's the case, I will be a happy Gooner.
