Why Gallas!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Why Gallas!

I must confess! I was shocked :shock: by the news of adopting W. Gallas as the team captain....what would he have possessed! :?: :o

Choosing a captain has to do with a collective spirit of a team to appoint a leader, Gallas just joined the team last season & I don't think he has had a good relationship with the young guyz! thatz making thingz happen i Arsenal.

The likes of Gilberto, Eboue etc are better as they have all been together overtime, moreso, Gilberto has been acting in the capacity... I don't want to believe that something is fishing. This same Gallas :twisted: recently critised Wenger of fielding immatured guyz which is an under-estimation of the qualities the guyz are made of...with this, he kills their morales.

Furthermore, Gallas is temperamental, & I can see him in last last game..he's too aggressive on the guyz

Arsene should explain his choice/decision coz 'm not personally comfortable with his choice & I believe many fanz willshare this same view with me
