Arsenal legend Ian Wright cant see shaun in an arsenal shirt

Arsenal legend Ian Wright can't see his Chelsea playing son Shaun Wright-Phillips ever pulling on a Gunners shirt.
He said: "I've tried to get him into Arsenal, but Arsene Wenger doesn't want him. What do the fans want me to do, camp outside the training ground?"

Despite his Arsenal connections, Wright also says he would have no qualms about supporting Tottenham should Wright-Phillips end up at White Hart Lane.

and yes another copy and paste lol.....sorry!!!!

Neither have I!

Never really understood the fuss about him to be honest!

He had one good season where everything went for him and he could do no wrong but how many other players has that happened too?

Who remembers Paul Warhurst?

Who? :?

SWp was talented but he should have gone out on loan while at Chelsea, he seems to have let his talent go to waste. I somehow doubt he would be a first teamer at Spurs

Excuse me Cus?

He had one season as an emergency centre forward and scored a few goals so thought all of a sudden he was the dogs nuts! So much so that when asked to play his normal position of centre back against us in the cup final he threw his toys out the pram and almost refused to play!

Flash in the pan mediocre player having a good season!

Yeah think he is still gracing Orient or somewhere!

I did wan't SWP but not now i don't think unless Arsene believes he can get more out the bloke, Ian Wright must regret saying "He's just joint the best team in the world"

I think SWP should go back to Man City and forgetabout the last few years

Im not concerned about SWP. Its Wrighty saying he would have no problems supporting Tottenham should SWP play there!!!!

Thats not good Wrighty is a Legend, seeing him cheering at SHL would destroy me  after Rocky he was my hero as a kid, I mean what would he do should SWP sign for them and score an equalizer (lets be honest a spud will never score a winner against us) :?:

YEAH, RIGHT!! IT'S FUNNY HOW PLAYERS AREN'T RATED AFTER FANS FIND OUT HE IS NOT COMING!!

AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE ON THE FORUM, I THINK SWP IS A VERY GOOD PLAYER AND WOULD HAVE FITTED IN WELL AT ARSENAL. A WINGER WITH PACE AND SKILL, WHO CAN GO ON THE OUTSIDE TO PROVIDE WIDTH - ISN'T THAT WHAT A LOT OF GOONERS HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR THIS SUMMER?

REMEMBER HE IS STILL YOUNG AND THE BEST IS STILL TO COME FROM HIM. I BELIEVE SWP WILL DEFINATELY PLAY A BIGGER ROLE FOR CHELSEA THIS SEASON - ESPECIALLY IF THE CHAVS SELL ROBBEN.

GOONERS ON HERE MIGHT NOT THINK HE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY FOR ARSENAL, WITH WHICH I CLEARLY DISAGREE, BUT TO SAY SWP IS RUBBISH IS JUST PLAIN IGNORANT!!

AS FOR WRIGHTY, I HEARD THE ORIGINAL INTERVIEW A WEEK OR SO AGO FROM WHERE THE NEWSPAPER/WEBSITE 'STORY' WAS TAKEN. YES, WRIGHTY SAID THAT HE WOULD GO AND WATCH TOTTENHAM AND SUPPORT HIS SON. WHAT ELSE WOULD ANYONE EXPECT FROM A FATHER?

HOWEVER, I DEFINATELY DIDN'T HEAR HIM SAY THAT HE WOULD CHEER THE SPUDS IF THEY SCORED AGAINST ARSENAL!! AND I WOULDN'T EXPECT HIM TO. HE CERTAINLY DIDN'T OVER-CELEBRATE WHEN SWP SCORED AGAINST US FOR MAN CITY, AND I DON'T IMAGINE WRIGHTY - KNOWING ALL ABOUT THE ARSENAL/SPURS RIVALRY - WOULD DO ANYTHING TO DELIBERATELY UPSET THE ARSENAL FANS, LIKE CHEERING ON SPURS AGAINST US.

we wont see him in an arsenal shirt as they dont have one that would fit him. He made his decision based on money i think and has only had one good season.

Warhurst by the way is at Barnet I think. Michael Ricketts is another, he played for England for gods sake. I think we should have went for Marco Boogers, simply because he tried to break Gary Neville in half.
