Almunia's made a huge error today - problem is, in big games, he is known to make a mistake. The warning sign's have been there ever since he made his debut against Man City in the CC.

Of course he has improved greatly and that is credit to him, Wenger and the Goalkeeping staff, however in big games, I feel, more often than not, he let's us down.

Dropping him though....is that the answer? Who else is there?

he is not shit he is just average, an average goalie being played in the first team when he is clearly not up to it, same with eboue, diaby and denilson song, need i go on.
same shit just a different season, we go into our first big game minus our star player, we have nobody of his class in the squad to replace him , same as last season, we punch above our weight for the majority of the game and then panic when something goes wrong, same as last season, we have nobody to kill off a fuckin game when we are on top and nobody to rescue us when we fall behind, same as last season

there is no world class keepers for sale, even if we did sign a new one, asoon as they made a mistake you would all be calling for their head and demanding arsene to sign a 'real' world class keeper. All keepers make mistake but because we are arsenal and haven't won anything for 5 years we get critical with everything and have every reason to do so.

you're right.... Almunia will never make amazing saves, will always make silly mistakes, because he's an average keeper. He'd do well for West Ham, Fulham, Blackburn.. .clubs of that ilk, but not good enough for a side which should be looking to win the CL, League and FA Cup every season.

Saying that, second goal was nothing to do with him.
