You tell us if Arsenal can win the title (9/8)

Usual thread starter – More for the sake of completion though really. If you didn’t vote for Arsenal as champions, who do you think will take it this time?

Chelsea for me are too ruthless not to win the thing, injuries to Drogba or Cech aside, they willl grind out win after win as they have for 2 of 3 years. I think Man U's frontline will be too full of similar talent to work together and Liverpool really don't convince me

I put Man Utd as champions for my predictions but i do believe Arsenal can challenge them hopefully we can last the distance depends on injurys and also ANC in january and Febuary, a plus for us is that unlike liverpool and Utd we don't have loads of players who have to settle in we only have Eduardo and Sagna, this might give us the upper hand in the first few games, hopefully we won't slip up. after the first 6 games i would like 14pts (4wins 2draws) i think thats resonable considering who we have got.

Fulham H 3pts
Blackburn A 1pt
Man City H 3pts
Portsmouth H 3pts
Spuds A 1pt
Derby H 3pts

But if i'm honest we could win all 6
I'm happy with our first 6 fixtures as long as we don't slip up :?

Who agree's/Disagree's with me ??

I think thats a far enough table & i'm sure we haven't of lost a game after the Derby match
I just hope we do get a good head start as it will keep Spurs fans shut as they useually have this wonderful start of season form
If Arsenal don't win the league then i'd put my money on either Chelsea or Man Utd as i don't think Liverpool will win anything this season but think teams such as Newcastle & Man City will do better than they have in the last few years with no bosses at the dug out (again)

who thinks the top 4 will pull away again from the rest?? or do you think from top to bottom the table will be closer?? last season 1st had 89 pts and 5th had 60pts and bottom just 28 pts. The season before 1st had 91, 5th had 65pts and bottom just 15pts

I think the whole table will be closer not by much but i just think mid-table team seem more likely to take points of the big boys

Yes, I think we are very capable of winning all 6 games but I would expect us to take at least 13/14 points from 18

In the words of Kevin Keegan " Id love it " if we could stick a massive two fingers up at all the doubters this season and do something.
