Arsenal Player Of The Month (August)

I don't recall it being so difficult to choose in quite a while, as there is usually one player that really Stands Out!, I'd have to go for one of the following:

Vermaelen (I think he has surprised a lot of Gooners and has made the position of CB his own very quickly, as if he's been there years, whilst bringing a new confidence, calmness and strength to the defence and in corners)

Song (Has improved 10 fold since last season - and has the makings of an excellent Mid-fielder)

Gallas (Seems to be playing his best football since he jooined us)

Eduardo (considering the shyte he's had to put up with)

Arshavin (his presence alone makes teams double mark him)

Fabregas (Has really stepped into the Captaincy with greater confidence and assurity from day one this season - and seems to have heard gooners cries to 'Shoot'!!)

It's between Vermaelen and Fabregas IMO.

Vermaelen should get it, only because Fab has been injured and missed a couple of matches.
