As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well saturdays will never be the same again without the so called legend Tim Lovejoy
His replacement is the guy off the All Sports show
I will watch it as always but do you think the Soccer AM crew can go on living without him or will it flop without him?

Lovejoy wrote everything on it :!: Even Helen's script but then Helen is an excellent presenter. You can tell when on the odd occasion she wasn't there. i.e. Jayne Middlemass. There was no comparison.

i have to say i thought lovejoy was very funny but so is the rest of the crew :lol: so i cant see it changing much anyway the new fella is very witty to

I know he did the writing and it was 'his baby' but I just thought it was more and more The Tim Lovejoy Show as it went on . Just my opinion :)

LOVED THE SHOW FOR THE FIRST FEW YEARS BUT RECENTLY IT HAS BECOME TOO MUCH LIKE CHELSEA T.V., WITH LOVEJOY ALWAYS WEDGING INTERVIEWS, CLIPS AND COMMENTS OF HIS BELOVED CHAVS - AND THE GUY USED TO SUPPORT WATFORD AS A KID!! :roll:

THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I WATCHED SOCCER.AM EXPECTING TO SEE A PARTICULAR BIT OF SKILL I HAD SEEN DONE BY AN ARSENAL PLAYER THE PREVIOUS WEEK, AND NOTHING. YET HE WOULD SHOW A GOAL OR PIECE OF SKILL BY AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT CHELSEA PLAYERS EVERY TIME - EVEN THOUGH THEY WEREN'T A PATCH ON THE ARSENAL ONES!! :shock: :x

It wasn't the same for me today as some of the jokes & things that appear in the show have gone like Barry & Big Stan
Now today they now bring in a Irishman who isn't that funny
When Andy first came in i thought he might shoot the hoop but that never happened, i quite missed it TBH lol
There's only two rew members expect for Helen that are still there being Rocket & Tubes
There not allowing the jokes hardly anymore now but i did find it funny when Andy was sent up to the sky sports office in the middle of a warehouse
