Is that when you wake up, but you can't actually open your eyes and move?

You know you're in an "unconcious" state. But you don't want to be there?

I used to suffer from that when I was a very young kid.

The only way I could get myself awake was to hold my breath. Wake up. Or die.

Fucking scarey.

Is this the same thing you're asking about?

Only once, about 3 years ago, it shit me up no end....

Although Adebayor had it for around 9 months last season...

Had it a couple of times. Scared the bejaysus out of me.

Although one time was at the end of a 5 day beer and ganja session... so I suppose only one counts as true (non "provoked") Sleep Paralysis.
