city vs united
for the first time in my entire life, next 19th, city vs united, i'm going to pray that manure sticks a good 5 or 6 past given. i want them to stuff shitty, destroy shitty, make them look like the *word censored* they are.
i don't care if it's united getting a good victory, i want man shitty to suffer.
there's no team in the world right now that i hate more than shitty, there's no player in the world right now i want to suffer more than cuntbayor.
what about you guys? they can't both lose, what do you hope the result will be?

[sigh] I've started writing a response to your post 3 times now, and ended up deleting every word...augie wrote:I am hoping for a manyoo win as well - it is taken for granted now that they will again be well out of distance for us this season so it is better that the teams that we will be competing with lose games like this regardless of who they are playing

Because, whats the point? what can I say? - you're probably right.. we won't catch ManUre so I suppose it's logical, that after 4 games, to give up on that dream, and concentrate more on beating Sp*rs and Citeh to 4th... but where's the fun in that?? that's not what I dreamed about as a kid... I dreamed of glory, and, although foolish, I start every season dreaming of glory again no matter how unlikely that dream is.
I just cannot understand how a supporter can give up so quickly, even if you're being pragmatic about the situation we're in... what about the impossible dream, and all that??
Maybe I am guilty of getting caught up in the romance of the cup, and dreaming of an unlikely title win, but honestly... I wouldn't have it any other way.
Football is a magical game, full of emotion and wonder, and I refuse to put a celing on what's possible to be achieved, because as soon as you replace your hopes and dreams with logic and pragmatism, then you start to suck the life out of the game we all love.... and maybe THAT'S the real difference between rose tinters and "realists"?!

We must go on a run of consecutive wins, i dont mean 4 or 5 games it needs to be about 10.
The transfer window is closed so we can stop monaing about signings that we made or didnt, this is now our squad till january and we must find a consistant winning formula from that.
The 4-3-3 formation id designed to help theback four more, by allowing us to use two more defensive type midfelders and still play cesc in his natural position (Denilson and song). This hasnt worked because our fullbacks are now exposed due to not having a player infront of them helping out.
Wenger wont go back to 4-4-2 as he knows Song isnt good enough to cover the defensive side of the midfield on his own and needs an extra body in there to help.

football is not about logics, we leave that to our normal pathetic lives. football is about dream, passion, and i'll keep saying we will win the treble, even if in our team we have silvestre, almunia, diaby, eboué, cygan and stepanovs. i don't care, i love this club and i want it to succeed, and i'll be supporting it every single time. i will be logical in a few discussions (very few) but when it comes to supporting and hoping, i'm always saying we will win the treble, like i do since 1996, and always hoping it can be done.
brilliant stuff.

we all support this club hence the reason we spend our time on there and while its nice to dream and hope, anyone who has a clue about the game can see this current squad is not gonna win or even challenge for the title!!
I do believe had we added 2 or 3 QUALITY players to this squad before the window that might hvae been different however!!
Yeah I will SUPPORT players like Diaby etc but I won't kid myself on they are good enough!!
