4-0, Clean Sheet but has anyone seen Cesc?

Post by lagerisgood1981 »

He was very much below par today and apart from scoring was absent for most of the game.

Was it because we were playing Wigan?

If he keeps coasting like this he may not be a gooner for much longer!

Other than Diaby he was our worst player today.Dont think i have ever seen him give the ball away so much.Maybe he thought this season he would have a better quality of player around him

Hes probably sick of playing with shit like Song, Eboue and Diaby, when he could and will be playing with the likes of Henry, Messi at Barcelona next season

You say he is sick of players like Song, im sorry but at the moment Song is a better player than Fabregas, once again today the only thing that annoyed me about our performance was the constant giving the ball away from Fabregas, its becoming a joke, his set pieces are no good either, he rarely puts the ball in a decent area!

Swale I would agree with you that at this moment in time song is in slightly better form than cesc but there is a world of difference in saying that and claiming that right now song is a better footballer. I could not disgaree with anybody slating cesc's performances of late (although we may differ on the possible reasons) but song lost a bit of possession today too although both were left totally in the shade by the enigma that is diaby  How is this fool still playing for our club ?

fuck me, one average game and all this crap comes up.

He's had plenty of worse games for us and nobody said a word. His start to the 07-08 season for instance (the first 2 or 3 games) he's been horrible for instance.

Cesc as well as Arshavin is our only player who could be classed as world class. But he has not just had one average game.He was poor v City and Liege.

On Swales comment about Song and Cesc.Form is temporary Class is permanant.

btw: his passing % was 79%. hardly horrible. He gave away 13 from 60 passes, that's completely average for an attacking midfielder.

I don't know what game you were watching people.

Average performance, not horrible. not even bad.

brilliant tackling performance.

It's not just his stats though... He barely broke into a smile when he scored the 4th. I know he was carrying a knock, but he is the bloody captain and if he can't be happy when we score ......

Your right though, when he looks around at the start of the match he must shake his head and think what crap he has alongside him.

Cesc is a ledge, but unfortunately I can't see him there at the start of next season unless something totally un-wenger like happens in January

he was first in the celebration for the first 3 goals.

Can't we just have a nice thing for bloody once? We played well, we scored 4 goals and could have had another 4 and we kept a clean sheet for once.

Do we really need something negative to hold on to every bloody time?

Superb!! Super Alex Song!

I have said plenty of time about Fabregas' poor performances, and to be honest 99% of his set pieces are a joke!
