THE ROCKET ! WHO WAS IN THERE?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Post by Chunky The Gooner »

I know from other posts that GUS , DICKO AND KING KOLO were in there but who else was in there today after the game. Did you have a shirt that stood out from the norm ?

i was after, i wasnt wearing nething that stood out from the crowd, but i was on the table directly behind the lad with the cannon tatoo on his back *who was not wearing a shirt* if that helps, and my fave song in there had to be *get ur phones out for cashley*, then the next verse of *set it to vibrate* that was a classic.

before the match went to a cafe witch was sh!t cant remember the name, and on the way up2 the stadium i met martin keown which i loved as he was 1 of my childhood heros *bear in mind im only 21*, so missed the likes of charlie george, liam brady ETC...and i asked heown *has he been fighting with RUUD lately* he laffed and sed *no his been in spain* so that was a great memory for me.

match wise, well i thought we done really well, we could and should of scored alot earlier in that game, wen *lemon* made that mistake i thought *here we go agen*, but after that i think he was so embarrerssed, that he seemed to make a few gd saves *down the oppisite end* so dunno weather it was more luck then judgement.

there keeper done very well for a 2nd choice, but they were using th time wasting tactics witch got very annoying, i would like to klnow how long the ball was in play for *being played with* the time they were wasting on free kicks, subs, goal kicks, moaning at the reff, and even an injury or 2 was diabollockall.

neway we won, we got the result and thats all that matters, oh yea and also the spuds lost HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

sorry for goin on and on and on and on but just leaving you with my thoughts and got a bit over excited, and most of this prob has smelling sorry spelling mistakes neway.

there's a map of it on one of these threads - poss one entitled where is everyone drinking or somehting like that. If u imagine where the armoury is, u walk away from it with the legendary aqua sauna on ur left, costcutter on ur right onto holloway road (holloway tube statin should be almost opposite) turn left, keep walking till u see a cashpoint with a sloping path up towards it - the rocket is on the left exactly just after it - a couple of bouncers should be outside - its a uni pub during the week if that helps

I discovered it yesterday, it's ace isn't it.

Was wearing a mock up Arsenal shirt with 'Fly Gooners' where the sponsor should be, the one they sell on the stalls outside the ground.

I was there!!!!

I was at the back wearing the zip up top of the old arsenal away kit (you know, the garish one) smashing my seat on the floor, spilling beer and singing my heart out... brilliant.

Also, my new seats in red Section are amazing... didn't sit down all game, and however quiet it may be elsewhere it is always going to be loud where I sit!
