Going To See A Recognised Few Players Play!!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Going To See A Recognised Few Players Play!!!

Post by RaM »

Just got my hands on tickets for the Sydney FC vs LA Galaxy match played over here on November 27.

Although not a Beckham fan at all, this will be the most recognised player I've seen play in person.

I mean, Sydney FC is my second team, being local to me, and I go to a lot of their matches, but never seen players who are too important.

Had:

-Yorke (gone)
-Carbone (gone)
-Juninho (this season) :D

Playing for Sydney

and the most recognised player from a foreign team is probably Shinji Ono from Japan's Urawa Reds in the Asian Champions League.

Should be pretty good, apparantly Zidane to play for Sydney in a guest appearance. Finally get to go to a match with a bit of talent on show!

Oh how I envy those of you who can see Arsenal play on a fairly regular basis, alog with all the class players this brings.

Yeah RaM, hope you get the chance to come over for a game.

It'll be worth the wait and certainly not a let down for you.

I can still remember my own reaction and feelings the very first time I went to Highbury. As I got to the top of the steps in the Northbank and saw what was in front of me, well, totally awe struck and I can still hear my own sharp intake of breath.

I would imagine a first trip to Ashburton to be something equally as magical and memorable for you.
