Forum Users As Bible Characters

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Was visited by Jehovah's Witnessess yesterday and had an 'interesting' discussion about God. Now I'm not about to knock the J.W's as half of my siblings and their children sincerely believe in it.

However, it did get my mind wondering which forum members have the characteristics of famous figures from the Bible. For example...

Augie/donaldo could be the doubting Thomas's (although in fairness that could apply to a lot of us!!)

g88ner is like King Solomon. Full of wisdom (with the ocassional bullshit thrown in!!) :wink:

Mrgnu could be Judas - Often to be found frequenting with the enemies of the Online Gooner

**** *** is obviously King Herod, for trying to put the Online Gooner to death!!

The Mods are like Job. Faithful despite all the shit stuff we have to put up with!! :roll: :wink:

And I'm the forum equivilent of Jesus - just perfect in everyway and without sin!! 8) :lol: :lol: :wink:

Oh, and I almost forgot - Flash is obviously the gay one!! :lol: :lol:

Now I know the Irish lads, having been brought up as good catholic boys :wink:, will have an advantage over the rest of you with all this religious nonsense but lets go for it anyway. 8) (We could branch this out if you want into Arsenal Players that resemble Bible Characters. Alternatively, we might not!! :oops: :oops: ) :lol: :lol: :wink:

been an atheist since young im afraid i don't know enough of the fictional characters from the bible but in this picture is the good old Irish catholics just off the plane at stansted :wink:

Actually a very profound point. I would go beyond the Bible and look at either Paradie Lost or the Pilgrim's Progress for Online Gooner characters drawn from literarure of an ethereal outlook.

For example Adam and Eve could well be **** and Basil - alright a bit of an exaggeration but you sort of get my point.



Would Satan, be Usmanov/Kronke/Hill-Wood/ or Wenger ?

Ditto the Serpant ? Who is Gabriael who forewarned them of the fall ? Most Forumn members ??
