You've got the save your photo to Photobucket, (i.e. upload the image once you have created an account with them (it's free www.photobucket.com)
Then, within Photobucket, you'll get the image code which you'll need to copy then paste into your post on the Gooner.

Well, for personalised images and photo's you can do it via Photobucket (as Frank suggests above
) but for images found on the world wide web, I use Google search...
step 1 - Go to Google.com
step 2 - in the search box, type what you want...
step 3 - top left corner of the Google page, click on Images, and you find page after page of images related to your search.
step 4 - click on the image you want
step 5 - in the top left corner of the page, click on the image or the blue writing saying See full size image
step 6 - at the top of the page, highlight the web address and right click, then on the scroll down list click "copy"
step 7 - start a post as normal...
step 8 - right click in the text box (the area where you would type your post) and right click.... scroll down to "paste" and right click.
step 9 - your web address is now printed in your post.
step 10 - highlight the web address and immediately above the text area, are a few buttons (Bold, italic, underline, etc.) - click on "Img" and you'll find that your web address has now got [img] written either side of it.
step 11 - click preview and you SHOULD (if done properly) see your image.

use http://tinypic.com if you dont wanna create a photobucket account mate. very quick & easy to use; choose your photo either from your pc or somewhere online, hit upload & it gives you the code to paste into your message on the forum

That aside, I've suggested several times that they put how to post images either on a sticky or on the help page, but to no avail so far.
