well done sanchez

I agree - although he did kind of qualify some of his retraction by saying 'it possibly was a penalty' and 'I have seen them not given'!

Still, it will be interesting to see whether the press publish his comments/apology tomorrow in a similar manner and article size as the accusations he threw out - rather than just a small item on the side. :x Somehow I doubt it!!

Gunners-need-steel,

He said it on Sky Sports News this afternoon.

Yeah credit where credit's due. I don't sit a million miles from the Away dugout and he was going larey at the 4th official. Saying 4 times we'd dived. I was raging. At least he acknowledged the Hleb 1st half one as a pen. Fair play to the bloke.

Yes indeed, ECD and I think we can safely assume that bottom feeding lowlife McCarthy will not make any amendments regarding his disgraceful performance on Sky either

Ok yes, he shouldn't have said it and his time wasting tactics were a disgrace but for a man to say he is wrong is hard enough, to say it to the press is a very brave thing. Well done Sanchez, I forgive you

you say about the time wasting tactics but can you really blame Fulham because they have never beat us away in the league before, i don't agree with it i was shouting everytime they did it but you sort of understand why they did it, i never understand why Utd did it last year they were suposed to be the best but felt the need to time waste after going ahead, fecking pethetic

I can understand defending tactics or going to frustrate, annoying and against my love of good football but breaking the rules? No.

even with the qualifications, its not easy to turn around and say that to the press .. especially after he been so aggressive with his accussations ...

for me, apology accepted ... I can now tolerate fool-ham again, and no longer wish they would go down this season ... :P

I never understand moaning to the fourth official. It's not like he's going to agree with you, walk on to the pitch and give the decision in your favour.
