A very tough game ahead, Sunderland are playing well at the moment as we saw against Spuds(should have won :banghead: )
We must keep an eye on Reid, he is the one who is making them tick.

Yet another crappy international break to disrupt our momentum & injure our players :banghead:

Expecting a tough game here as well, Sunderland are looking decent at the minute. I think we can battle out a win but probably only by 1 goal & seeing as we're incapable of keeping a clean sheet at the minute i'll go for 2-1 to The Arsenal...

Sunderland are very inconsistant and are quite similar to us in the way they have a decent attack but look shakey at the back. We will either get the sunderland who lost to Birmingham or the sunderland who beat Liverpool and almost beat united. If we can come out of the international break with no more injuries I can see us winning this 2-0 :barscarf:
Arshavin and cesc to score :barscarf:

lets hope cattermole, cana and Jones remain injured. Still think we'll sneak a win though :barscarf:

Did Jones get a one or three match ban for his red card last week? I think Cattermole is out for a while. But as we sang at Wigan last year "We've got Cesc Fabregas, You've got Lee Cattermole..."

jones got a 3 match ban so will be out, cattermole is out until about the new year, but Cana will be back, and he's a fucking beast

Should be a cracking game and, since the arsenal have sold out the away end, the game will be close to a sell out so should be a good atmosphere.

As others have said, we can either be very good (united away, liverpool at home) or awful (stoke away, birmingham away). We seem to raise our game against the top sides but cattermole has been a huge part of that and will be a big miss.

Regarding the arsenal, obviously theres a lot of players capable of punishing us, but i think if we can keep arshavin quiet we will be doing well.

As i've said before, hope all the gooners coming up enjoy the trip (its the only trip you'll get to the north east this year since the mags and smogs went down   so make the most of it). Feel free to arrive early and try the pubs in town (not that they're any good like, but some will have strippers on). There arent any home only pubs and you're unlikely to get any grief even if you have colours on

Im going to the game with my best mate who is a gooner, so im hoping for a nice win so i can rip the piss out of him! After the game we're generally on the piss all night so i wont be on here until the sunday but win or lose (i'll take a point btw!) I'll be on on sunday to give an opinion of the match

good luck lads
