Are we ever going to get a........

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Are we ever going to get a........

Post by franksav63 »

.....muverfuckering penalty ever again ?..... (notwithstanding Standard Leige's penalty shout) have we had one awarded since the 'Eduardo' incident ?

I can think of several we should have been given.

Arshavin, Manure away (just before his goal)
Vela (last week)
Eduardo (versus Wolves)
Vela (away against AZ)

I'm sure there have been a few more.... :? :banghead: :banghead:

We are our own worst enemies in this situation.

Take last night, you've got Eboue at it again in the box. Refs are going to take note and personally I can't blame them for not giving us any.

Wenger seriously needs to address the situation to make sure we are beyond reproach in our behaviour. Then the pens will come again.

Understand what you're saying N5, but we're not the worse culprits when it comes to this, even though Eboue, unfortunately, will never learn.

Hmmm... yes, the stick on at AZ away would have made it 2-0, they wouldn't have come back from that, we could then, have played our celebrity 11 last night, and saved the players for Sunday's game. It all has a knock-on effect... :?

I don't believe we will, we've made our bed now and sadly one when it matters won't be given and it will cost us majorly, everyone else will be laughing hard.

Personally I'd rather we won games without the need for a penalty.

I think the only chance of getting one now is if one of the opposition players, brings out a gun and shoots one of our players in the back, (in the penalty area of course) and then, the ref may think twice... :banghead:

Eboue will never change.

It's hard-wired into his brain to be a diver and a whiner. We should just offload this crunt before he majorly embarrasses us in a big final... :?

The question i wolud like answered is 'do you think the bin dippers will have a penalty before us'!!.

Because ngog's dive was every bit as bad as eddies, maybe worse because there was no contact whatsoever involved in ngogs penalty but at least eddie had minimal contact.

personally, I'd rather we won every game 20-0.

We've been denied a few stonewall penalties this season and there's games where that's gonna cost you. It cost us at Alkmaar and it cost us at Sunderland.
