Arsenal have scored yet again in the Premiership and this could be the most crucial goal of all :barscarf:
It was cool the way Kanu jumped over him in the Celebration :barscarf:

i really liked wiltord, but whenever i watch that goal again, i always think "what a fucking legend freddie ljungberg was". not the most technically gifted winger ever, but still one of my favourites.

Ahhh the days when we were good. Watch and listen carefully at the start of the clip - did you see who loses pocession for United. Silvestre.

Could you imagine Denilson, Walcott or Almunia playing in that side.

Where did it all go wrong?

Saying that though, we were crap in Europe in those days!

Wiltord has just signed at FC Metz (French Ligue 2), he was free since last season. First game, 2 goals for Wiltord 8) .. he's 35 now.

I went mental that night, ive never seen a team try and injure another team so much than united did that night. We stood up for ourselves without our big players and won the game and the league in their back yard.

I can never forgive wiltord for that stupid stepover he tried against valencia in his own half, giving the ball away for their goal. lol

I loved Wiltord (except when he scored against us), what a cracking player. That gold away kit just brings back (bad) memories for me! Why did he leave Arsenal by the way? He had another few years at top level in him surely? (As he proved at Lyon.)

I think he was frustrated at not playing in his right position (ring any bells anyone?) to be fair he was competing against Henry and Bergkamp at the time and so let his contract run down and left on a free

Ah yes that's right, he wasn't going to play instead of Bergkamp or Henry, no player in the Prem could have replaced that forward line.

Great player to bring on though, Arsenal could do with a fully fit and firing Wiltord right now.
