This thread is in no way meant to be an optimist gloat, it’s an honest question. I’m an optimist (always with arsenal cant help it).
Its the fixture list that really makes me think we can do it. As mentioned in other threads manc city and spuds are the really tough fixtures and we are capable of easily winning both. If we can get a run going who knows.
Have you changed your mind at all???

As long as there's a mathematical chace, I will always believe/hope. Just how I am.
I wasn't greatly optimistic after the ManUre/Chel$ki losses, but this morning's results (ours as well as the rest) proves that anything can happen in the run in.
We have a good run in, but saying that we could lose another two in a row to easybeat opposition. The top 2 at the moment have a tougher run, but each is capable of putting on a ten match winning streak. A couple of draws in a row from either of them will bring us right into the thick of it again.
All we can focus on is winning our own games.

We still have some tough games ahead Birmingham away, Stoke away, scum away, city at home.... I still dont think we are quite good enough to win it but with an unbeaten run who knows. Ive got a feeling we wont be far behind the champions at the end of the season and will regret not strengthening in Jan.

Well i said a while back that if after these 4 games we were 6 points behind we would be in with a massive chance as the fixtures are in our favour and as you saw last night, points are easily dropped!
A nice 1-0 like that is the perfect way to end a few poor results and something to build on, we can go on a run now, im confident of that, we still have every chance of winning it!

For me the problem (one of them, anyway) with this team is the inconsistancy both of individual players and the team as a whole. I could see us win a few the next games, be in with a real shout, and then just piss it away against shite teams because the players weren't up for it...
Heart says we have a shout. Head says third.

Nothing has changed for me.
Whilst the result was more than welcome the fragilities of the team/squad were still there for all to see.
If anyone think Bendtner is going to score us the goals to win us the league I am afraid they need to be sectioned.
Whilst our run in is easier than the other two we can never take it for granted that we will beat the likes of Blackburn and a single defeat to Citeh or the scum wll rule us out of it once and for all.
We still have a slim chance but shouldn't we be expecting more mid-February?

I agree with that. Someone said on the radio a couple of weeks ago if Arsenal win the championship this year they will be the worst ever winners of the competitionfranksav63 wrote:Yes, we're still in with a chance, but this season's league is the poorest since I can remember, Liverpool last night we're the poorest Liverpool team I've ever seen, and I just hope where ever we finish doesn't mask the fact that our team needs a serious overhaul.
