Chamakh +++ Next season's aerial duo-strike!

Chamakh +++ Next season's aerial duo-strike!

Post by RoyalGunner »

I don't know much you know of Chamakh. Or if you have ever seen him play for that matter...but this kid's got talent. I am not talking about the talent that a torres, drogba, nor rooney posesses...however, with the likes os RVP at his left, together, could create some magic in attack.
Although Ligue 1 football no where near compares to the football played in the Prem...Chamakh, if, used correctly could potentially create a star duo up front...creating a monstrous ability of clinical finishing and swagger from V. Persie, while Chamakh alongside brings an aerial threat that is MUCH IN NEED. I just wish we were able to land him in january...

He signs for us it's 100% sure.

Benitez said after the game for the french tv that he'll sign for Arsenal. And when the journalist told it to Wenger, he smiled but refused to confirm.

Still in french tv, Grimandi was talking about Chamakh like he'll be an Arsenal player next year. He said that we lack of striker strong in the air and that's his main quality. But he wont be a first choice, he'll be a squad player.

Thanks for the welcome Flash...Whether Chamakh can actually adjust into the Wenger style play quickly and have immediate success in the premier league, of course, is still in doubt...however..I do believe that Arsenal's biggest shortcomings are their non ability to attack through the air. I do believe Chamakh is 26 and has learned well under the coaching of Laurant Blanc and turned him into a winner. That is what we need to either play with Van Persie if we switch to a 4-4-2 or have to come off the bench and show something up front in Persie's injury absence!
- Maybe an opposite of the likes of a dirtshit Edurdo....and Vela...and ohh walcott....

I read something somewhere that he's got one of the best heading or Scoring with the head records in Europe.

Fantastic!
Now all we need is for some players that can cross it to him! :roll: :lol:

That´s right.
Crosses by Sagna and Clichy are very poor lately.

Lately? All season and some. But there not solely to blame Cesc can really get past the first man on a corner, then on the next corner corrects this by overhitting the cross! (sails out for a throw-in or goal kick!) :roll:
Arshavin is no better either.

not lately, both of them can't actually cross a ball properly. in brazil they wouldn't play for a first division team with that crossing ability (remembering in brazil fullbacks are actually wingbacks, so marking is not the most important attribute).

i think that with bendtner and now chamakh it's about time we start training some crosses.
