stop the MK Dons world cup bid!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

But they are part of the bid. What's the point of trying to turf them out ?

It is hardly my favourite place buy I don't see why they should be subjected to irrational phobia. Football in this country is so full of hookey chancers, that singling MKDs out whilst letting numerous other far more destructive tendencies flourish, is just bizarre.

They have a good stadium, lets kick em out and get one of the 1920's shit holes in instead though eh?

The whole MK move was a disgrace. I know it's a wee bit awkward for us Arsenal fans to talk about it but it certainly was. Undermined the integrity of the whole promotion/relegation structure that operates in European sports rather than the shitty US closed shop crap. And took a club away from its supporters, although good for them for not taking it lying down.

Not going to bother joining this because it won't do anything.

Can't stand MK Dons, but as others have said, this wont change anything- they have made their decision and it would take something highly dramatic to make them withdraw ****** Keynes from the bid

Do you know nothing about football at all. Franchise FC are a disgrace and that club should have NOTHING to do with any world cup bid.

I'd prefer a more traditional stadium was used, but what can you do? it'll hold 44,000 with the extra tier/temporary seating (apparently) and that means more fans can watch the game than if it was held elsewhere. And THAT's the impotant thing... the fans.

Legacy of a past encounter with someone of that name. Too long to go into detail but suffice to say it caused problems and it's one of a couple of words that won't show up on here, regardless of the context.

This means we are never going to be able to discuss 'Paradise Lost'.
