I do accept that its the News of the World but there are direct quotes in it from both Dein and Fiszman!
Dein talks of the future for Arsenal and how being ok today is not what the benchmark should be but rather where will we be in a few years time now there is so much investment in the game.
Fiszman on the other hand talks about how he can devote some more time to the club in the future and how "my family love it,my kids love it - here I am!" That he is an Arsenal director! No mention of what's best for the club!
Guess which interview gives me the greatest hope for our club!
The man who talks about the reality of the clubs future and the need for investmenbt to keep our status in the game or the man who talks about the status his role in the club gives his family!
I do hope one day Dein can march Danny out the boardroom!
DEIN vs FISZMAN

I don't know mate!
The papers say that Kroenke fears there is so much anit-Dein feeling in the board that they would make like impossible in spite of Dein!
I know nothing is balck and white Gary, but if this becomes a personal crusade to do each other over I will be fucking angry!
On Dein's part I don't think it is but I will hold my hands up if proved wrong! Gos I hope that aint the case!
I don't believe the board are acting in the best interests of the club anyhow and I really hope this turmoik is sorted sharpish with sod all impact on the people that count the players the football staff and the supporters!

Well it seems that DD has miscalculated then cos his plan was to get Stan the ITV shares and then team up with him which would put them very close to forcing a takeover under stock market rules which state that the board members MUST do what is best for the club, because it has a direct effect on the minority shareholder's financial wellbeing, but apparently the word from the States is that Kronke did not take to DD very well and did not like his methods, which was probably not helped when he realised the level of opposition to anything or anyone associated with DD from within the boardroom!
So without making any judgements on DD's motives or whether his plans for the club prove to be the right way forward his latest move smacks of desperation, and I definately think there is an element of revenge in all this, he is/was a powerful man who was used to moving in the most powerful circles in football, was instrumental in forming the Prem, was vice-chair at the FA and then moved on to the pinnacle of European football with an influential position at G14 and helping revolutionise AFC in the process so it must've been an extremely bitter pill to swallow when he was dropped like a hot potato and lost his G14 gig as a result, so he wouldn't be human if he wasn't a little bit pissed!

There have been rumours that Fizman has been wanting to leave for awhile, all he was doing was assuring he wasn't going to sell his part in the club as I read it. Dein can dress up what he is doing all he wants and I'm sure he loves the club but while, for me, the investment argument is dodgy, if he is willing to help a gangster and racketeer buy the club, he has become desperate.
I read that this morn and theres a lot of quotes from( FRIENDS ) which doesnt say much for the jouro who wrote it,, he was only piecing 2gether bits from here and bits from there, none of us really know wats happening at the moment but my own feeling is that the board will sell after next april when the tax status is sorted out,, without goin back into the for and against david dein i still believe the club need new investment,, from who , not sure, thats for another day when things are a little clearer
