Gilles Sunu

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Gilles Sunu has reportedly signed a new contract with us.

In other news, right-back Rhema Obed has been told he is free to find a new club.

This young lad Sunu has a real eye for goal with the Youth and Reserve teams. We need a goal scorer just now, so what do we do? Send him out on loan

What ever happened to giving a young player at least a chance  We used to have a young lad called Andrew Cole...............

My mate was at Derby V Swansea on Saturday and apparently Sunu was awful.

Still good news though, I suppose everyone has a bad game :barscarf:

Afobe is just 17, but he's been impressive in U16 (40 goals in 33 games) and now with U18. Barcelona wanted to sign him but he refused because he dreams to play for Arsenal. Definitely a young player to follow.

Another 40k a week to a no-body who will probably end up playing somewhere in League Two a few years down the line.

i didn't know you had some much inside info on our young players, mate! nice!

by the way, did you know we actually profit with most of the players that don't make it at arsenal?

and yeah, afobe is really an exciting prospect, one of the most exciting of the current setup
