Carling Cup
Carling Cup
I'm left with mixed feelings after the Carling Cup final. After the way Villa fans sang songs mocking Eduardo's broken leg I now find myself taking great pleasure in their not so chirpy fans close to tears over a Carling Cup final.
On the other hand I find myself scratching my head at United fans singing "Neville hates scousers" when 2 scousers won the cup for them, clearly a club with an identity crisis at present.
Shit game all round though I thought, should have got in with the tiling instead :0)

Before the final I wanted Villa to win it. But after the way Martin O'Neill went on regarding Wenger's 'long ball team' comments - he was at it today again, really must have hit a nerve - I thought feck him and his mates in the media!!! As the match progressed I found myself actually wanting United to win, if only so's not to hear the inevitable 'not bad for a long ball team' comment O'Neill would have made afterwards.
It's sad because I did used to like the little Irishman (no, not DB0 - I still like him!!
) and also didn't mind Villa too much. Unfortunately that's changed now and resulted in me preferring Ferguson and United winning. A very rare occurrence indeed!!
