Are the Chavs bored?
Are the Chavs bored?
Last night I heard on the radio an advert which was advertising the availability of tickets for the match between Chavski & Blackburn Roguers. Have the Chav fans finally realised that their team play shit unentertaining football?

I don't think this is a new thing.
For their first ever Champion's Leauge match as Champions a couple of years ago (can't remember the opponents), the morning of the match they were advertising general sale tickets available for the match in the metro (THE FUCKING METRO). That's the original free paper you get on the tube in London for those who are unfamilliar.
Everything about Chelsea makes me sad, but that really did. That a team that represents our league as champions couldn't even sell out their little stadium for a match in the biggest club competition in the world.

I read recently that we are the 2nd best supported club in the world (measured by members and people on waiting lists) behind Benfica (of all people). Now I can't find any evidence to back this up, but given the length of the season ticket waiting list, I'm inclined to believe this.
Anyway, my point is, there's only one team in London. Unfortunately, our mates in Fulham are and always will be pretenders.

I also heard something similar to this TS except that we were THE best supported club in terms of registered fans!!!tonysaunders wrote:I read recently that we are the 2nd best supported club in the world (measured by members and people on waiting lists) behind Benfica (of all people). We are now officially the most supported team in the world if judge on the number of paid up members.

I guess I wasn't going crazy after all and it was Benfica. We were behind United, but their season ticket has been reduced to 0 recently. The Arsenal Official Membership Page wrote:With over 180,000 Club members, Arsenal have surpassed Benfica’s 2006 Guinness Book of World Records entry of 161,000 paid club members!
180,000 members. Beat that, Chelsea.
This isn't new
Arsenal as people have said have got a record breaking support with 60,000 filling up every week, playing the best football without winning cups
& still have 40,000 supporters on the waiting list for a season ticket
If Chelsea were to ever move stadiums then they would flop just like if Spurs moved to Wembley lol
