EPL Refs

Seriously? In a country where one sport dominates. In a country with 50+ million people, they can't find 10 men to do their jobs properly and fairly officiate a game of football?

I watch a lot of sports, and while there are always bad refs or bad calls, there is no league I have ever seen where the refs are even CLOSE to as horrid as the EPL refs. Every single week...hell almost every single game, has absolutely awful and embarrasing decisions that usually result in one team getting fucked over.

Its so fucking laughable at times that it hurts.

I think we have had extremely bad luck with officiating decisions over the last 4 games and it was only a matter of time before the decisions cost us points. On top of the nonsence we witnessed from Howard Webb today, we most likely would have won the game had TV played and Song been in midfield. I cannot believe how bad the officiating has been in our games of late Stoke Hull Westham and today all had some really bad decisions against us.

Well it cant be bad luck when it happens almost every single game. Its more like bad/influenced/paid off refs. The luck only occurs once a month when you get a ref that calls a fair game.

As the Premier League get's the most exposure you will inevitably see more mistakes.

In the Premier Division in Ireland for example, the overwhelming majority of refs are Dubliners - imagine if most of the Premier League refs were from Manchester!!!!!!

Saying that , the majority of teams in the League are Dublin teams so maybe it evens itself out.

English supporters don't really like to talk about this subject for some reason, and the fact of the matter, I believe, is that the EPL has been infiltrated over the years by the Russian and Asian Mafias....

When I say 'INFILTRATED', I mean referees have been paid cash money to to alter the courses of certain games.

Call me a conspiracy theorist if you may, but I say there is no smoke without fire...

ive got to say that our run of bad luck with refs is beyond funny, and i siad before the game i wonder if song gets booked for his first foul yet agian - and he did, clichy got booked for trying to jump away from a mcfadden dive

stats will show the ref gave them 3 yellows and us two but he gave thier yellows at the end of the game, in effect the ref made the left side of our backline walk thin ice for the whole game

yet again the opposition allowed to foul and kick us, but if we tried to compete in the same way we would be down to 9 men very quiclky

im still not sure why the goal was ruled out

Hardly scientific, but (from Wikipedia) all but about 3 referees are Northern (primarily from Lancs, Staffs and Yorks). None are from London (Mike Halsey's the closest, but has missed the whole season with Cancer).

Aren't the teams we fail to get protection from primarily from Lancs, Staffs and Yorks? Just an idea.....

They are not necessarily paid cash either. Think of it more as a masonic old boys club where they are rewarded for ensuring certain games go against the odds, by getting high profile matches and cup finals.

Howard Webb was rewarded with the world cup for his efforts over the last 4 years.

Is it a coincidence that Big Howard has been kept under the radar in the lead up to the world cup? It was only last season that you couldn't have a top 4 game without Webb in charge.

A couple of tips for you if you fancy a bet. If Mike Dean is in charge of a Harry Redknapp game, bet your house on it. If Dean is in charge of an Arsenal game that we are expected to win, bet against us.

It is run by Mike Riley and the PGMO and if you think there is too much money in the premier league for this to happen then yes, the EPL is a billion pound industry. However, over 5 Billion pounds are bet EVERY WEEKEND on the premier league in Asia. So if you think that these Asian bookmakers will allow this to be purely 'chance' then I suggest thinking again.

I think the 2008 prem was 100% fixed
not just because of the run of decisions that killed our title charge
but because once Chelski (spit) were Manurea challengers all the decisions went against them

this year I think it's more to do with all the refs being London hating northern moneys
Webb's is the absolute worst - he calls Rooney and Gerrard 'Wazza' and 'StevieG' on the pitch for f*cks sake

Everyone shys away from the conspiracy word, but its happened before plenty of times in other sports. Italy in 2005. The NBA over the last decade. The EPL is the biggest money making league in the world, so to think that it is not, or has not occured in that league would be stupid.

Enough said really, we all know what he's like.

And introducing video technology to football? It would reduce bad ref decisions,and therefor prevent any opportunity of match fixing.

Instead, Blatter has thrown up a smoke screen with his idea of having extra officials standing near the goals. Fucking laughable. If it wasn't so sad.
