Is there anybody out there who still believes?
Listening to the commentary today, it's a very long time since I felt physically sick at conceding a goal and the reason was because I started to believe this week that we could win the title. Bugger the Champions League, all I ever want is the title.
At least now with the other 2 hammerings today, we now know where we are and although Chelsea bounced back from their draw, I can't see us winning at The Spuds so even a 7-0 thrashing of Wolves won't get me to make the same mistake as I did this week.
Who genuinely thinks we will still win the title?

It's not over, but it's now highly unlikely. We need to win all 6 games, and even then I'm not sure it'll be enough.Eboue-Why? wrote: Who genuinely thinks we will still win the title?
It's never easy to take disappointments like today, but when players are being rested for a prioritised glamour match, it's even more difficult to accept. That may not hve been the defining reason we dropped points today, but if you don't play your strongest team, you're always left with what if's.
Hopefully we'll learn from this, treat EVERY game as the priority, and play every game like a cup final.

If we'd won today, there would have been 6 games remaining - Wolves, Sp*rs, Wigan, Citeh, Blackburn and Fulham.Hagbard 23 wrote:Good post by g88ner, I agree with what he said, but seriously... guys, did you really think we would be champions of England this year ?
Are we the best team in England? no, of course not - are we better than the 6 clubs menioned above?? hell yes!
The title was realistic, in my opinion - now it's a long shot, but a draw next week between Chelsea and ManUre opens the door again.... just.

You know it's all over when Mr 'Believe' is even doubting our chances now...
Personally, I thought it was over when United didnt drop points last week, nearly everyone in their "BBC Premier League Predictions" had United dropping at least 2 points there, plus they're on absolute great form... as always... when it matters!
Now. Barcelona. Lets see the hunger!!!!!!
This. Is. Huge.

I agree, if we beat Wolves next week, which we should really to be honest no matter how good their current form is, a draw in the game at old toilet would leaves us one point behind the chavs and two behind Man Ure.The title was realistic, in my opinion - now it's a long shot, but a draw next week between Chelsea and ManUre opens the door again.... just.
Chelsea with a very tough run in and with ManUre to go to citeh still, it can be done but its gonna be tough.

I admire your optimism, I really do. I wish I could be so positive .

I just can't see us winning every game. The Spuds and City games stand out as games we could very easily drop points in, especially if Fab is now injured again. Blackburn away is not easy, they will kick us all over the pitch as always and we don't like that do we! It was a pipe dream and nice to think about for a while but by the end of this week I think we'll all be back in the real world.

Yes i still believe....
I had us down to draw 2 and still just win it, but i did also have a tiny hope that villa might take a couple of points from Chelsea
IF....United and Chelsea draw and City beat united, which could happen
then Chelsea slip up and draw another, which they easily could....Hull, Blackburn etc.... then you never know, either of the 3 teams could win the final 6 games, its possible
BELIEVE!!
