Merida

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I've just watched the second half & ET of the u-17 final, Spain vs Nigeria. The Nigerians won it 3-0 on pens. Although our boy Merida scuffed his pen, (!) he looked quality the whole game, made some excellent passes, touches and had a few shots on goal. He's like Fab but more attack minded.

Now obviously I don't want Cesc to go anywhere, but this kid looks equally quality. Hope to see him getting some games in the Carling Cup..

Hopefully see him against Newcastle :D 8) that might be to early but i'm going so i want Arsene to play him :D

I think it's Carlos Vela who is on loan at Osasuna, I'm sure Fran Mérida is in our reserve squad.
It doesn't say on Arsenal.com wether he is on loan :roll: so i'm going on that :D
