Increase the size of the Red Action area

Increase the size of the Red Action area

Post by 61NeverAgain »

If the club are truly interested in improving the atmosphere in the stadium, the most simple ( & cost effective ) idea would be to increase the current size of the Red Action area from the currently absurd low figure of 500 seats to something more like 5000. The majority of fans I know look on enviously from other parts of the ground, lets start a campaign for a MUCH larger Red Action area!!!!

Yes that would be great if REDAction section was extended also i think if Standing was alowed thier shoud be a section (maybe one of the corners where you could stand) i'm sure i wouldn't be that hard to steward a standing area aslong as they get the ticketing and stuff like that all correct then it wouldn't get over crowded and would be as safe as seating areas.

Ultimatley I would love to see a standing area similar to those used in the new German stadiums, however standing policy is not to be decided by the club itself, therefore they should act where they do have the power and that is to accommodate the demand for a considerably larger Red Action area.

Well that certainly gets my vote, but will the club go for it?

Couldn't something be organised for silver/red members to adopt a new area as a singing/atmos area?
I'm a red member, and for pretty much every match there are plenty of seats in blocks 117-125. Surely something can be co-ordinated so that any silver / red members who want to sing can book seats in this area and make it like a new red section. Around 117 is also a good area because it is pretty much directly opposite the redaction section, so is probably the best location too, having two loud sections on either side of the stadium

No i don't think they should yet
Simple reason as i've said before as w need the supporters to be across the stadium not just in one corner
I must admit on European nights Spurs have good singers singing there shittey Martin Jols ..... for like 15 mins, let us do the same for Mr Wenger who has given us more then the fat bastard has given to the game of football & Spurs
The other week was excellent & hope it can be even better next Wednesday
Give it time & to settle even more at the Emirates to make it the new Highbury & at least i want to sing We're the whatever song to the stand not into a corner lol

Block 19 and Block 24 Should be the new RedSections. It would be good if fans made it so. Those who want to increase the atmosphere should try to book tickets in Block 19 or Block 24. If the idea took off maybe the club could put a note on the booking that these areas are 'singing areas'

We did it all the time - especially night games - in the clock end - it was just that several thousands who couldn't be bothered.

You know who you are.
