Carling Cup - Wheres the Love???

Carling Cup - Wheres the Love???

Post by leahy »

Cant believe this hasnt sold out, £10 a ticket in the lower tier.
and tickets still available in block 5 redaction. why wouldnt you want to go? its not like we're gonna be playin the under 13's.
Fabianski
hoyte nordveit senderos traore
theo denilson diaby gibbs?
bendtner eduardo?

just a rough guess, lets not forget the great show these guys gave us in cardiff.

not to mention newcastle in the form of their lives, looking for any trophy they can find, and the threat of owen should be fun.

cant believe season ticket holders have snubbed this one.

hope we bury em 3 - 0.

Got my tickets 1st day. Tener, block 19, nice...
surprised these havent sold out, it was a decent gesture from the club to reduce prices and with the quality on show I would have thought there would be plenty of takers..
Still 2 weeks to go so I'm sure we'll sell out by then..

I'm taking my Grandad to his first game at the Grove :D i would have gone even if the tickets were full price because we should be 100% behind Arsenal 'Reserves' after their great run in the Carling Cup last year.
Lets show we are fully behind them and make some noise, it's going to be a very intresting game with big Sam's reformed Newcastle team who are hopeing for silverware this season.

C'mon the boys....

Me and my Grandad are sitting block 3 row 11 seat can't remember lol i thought i had better get a seat lower west so my grandad could see better  otherwise i would of gone in the REDAction section :D

My Grandad's last game was Arsenal v Wolves Carling Cup we won 5-1 i think and Cesc became Arsenal youngest ever goal scorer at the time. so hopefully he is a lucky charm also Arsenal went on to go unbeaten that season :D 8)

I will say my grandad has always followed Shrewsbury town because thats where his from but his second favorite team is Arsenal  and he hate Sp*rs
i don't think his judgment on players is very good though because his favorite player was Jérémie Aliadière and my grandad said he would become one of Arsenals greatest players

I'm there.

I'm surprised it hasn't sold out.

The League Cup isn't the 'Joka-Cola Cup' or the 'Worthless Cup', it's the 'Darling Cup' for me.

It's punk football, away from the bloated egocentric stadium rock of the Premiership.

In 2003 I saw Cesc's debut, how many other season ticket/bond holders can claim that? The game ended in a penalty shoot out where the whole side took penalties.

In 2004 I saw our reserves and youths destroy Everton who were 3rd in the Premiership at the time.

In 2005 I saw Arsenal's youths thrash Reading 3-0 for £10 and had enough left in my pocket to go to Charlton v Blackburn the following night as a neutral, where Blackburn pulled back a 2 goal deficit to win 3-2.

Last year we reached the final.

It has a purpose and it's a great tournament.

I think its had a bit of a revival recently..
With our kids, and fighting on 4 fronts, its so important for us to able to blood in our kids and fringe players in games like this, rather than important games in the PL and CL, where you cant afford a slip-up at any time.
Its a good chance for youngsters and non-ST holders to see the Arsenal and the stadium and at a tener I really think its a decent competition these days..

COME ON PPL, LETS SELL OUT AND MAKE A RIGHT RACKET FOR THE KIDS!!
