Yes that's right. The injuries, followed closely by the quality of the pitch, the "irregular" goals, the fixture list, the international breaks, the volcanic ash cloud, the traffic on the M6 and the distraction of the general election.Bring Back Pires wrote:Apparently. We're only losing all these games because Fabregas is injured you see. Or something.
But never, ever question Arsene's judgement......

Sometimes (most of the time) I really believe that he does know....
But then sometimes I have dark thoughts. I start wondering whether the success that Arsene enjoyed in his early years was largely down to the squad he inherited from George....and whether maybe we've just believed the hype since then.
But I kind of know this is bollocks. The invincibles were largely Arsene's creation and George can hardly be credited with CL qualification over the last 1000 odd years or however long it is.....
Yes, I still believe....but games like Wigan and Blackburn are a test of that belief. Almunia and Flappy are a test of that belief, I think I'm right in saying that Arsene has one year left on his contract. And another season like this one (which hasn't been a disaster by any stretch of the imagination!) would mean that its unlikely to be renewed....
