As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
We shouldn't have dropped 11 points to Spurs, Blackburn, Wigan and City. If we had won all those, we would have still had a chance of winning the league today.
We basically lost those games because of negligent defending and goalkeeping.

It hasn't been a great season, no.
But all this black scarf, boo the team is a disgrace.
We're a postion and a point better off than last year after selling almost £50mill worth of player and spending sod all.
Black scarf movement is against the board for lying about how our finances would be affected by moving to a new stadium. It's a call for investment in the team.
Until we beat chelsea or united by 2 goals or so, we have not improved. We actually beat united AND chelsea last seaon, and also reached the champions league semi finals. So i dont really know how people are saying we;ve improved.
Until we start regularly taking points from the top 2 and close the gap on them overall, i'd say despite finishing a place higher we're really no better than we we're last year. Big investment in strengthening the team and also clearing out a lot of dead wood is needed if we are to have a serious challenge for the major honours next year.
We’ve made a marginal improvement on last season - points, position & quality wise. But considering just how shite we were last year that’s not really something to celebrate.

The voice of reason
We have definitely built a side capable of beating most teams at home, enough points away, to finish in the top four. And that;s it. The first sign of real quality in any competition then we are vulnerable.
The investment in quality is not commensurate with the money invested in season tickets.
