Don't mess with Traore

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Don't mess with Traore

Post by Gooneroonie »

A YOUNG Arsenal star was arrested on suspicion of carrying a lethal knuckle-duster at the Spurs match on Saturday.

French international Armand Traore, 17, was allegedly caught with the weapon outside a turnstile at White Hart Lane.

The first team squad member, who was not playing, had gone to watch with a pal.

Stewards are said to have seen him acting suspiciously and asked him to turn out his pockets.

Police were called and both men were arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

They were taken into custody for questioning and Traore was given a formal warning.

A club insider said: “Armand had no idea he’d done anything wrong because the laws are different in France.â€

Stupid boy if you ask me, why does a professional footballer need to carry a nuckle duster or wepon to a match? i would be very suprised Arsenal don't react to this and punish him. :(

so it sounds like he was trying to get into the ground with the fans, not with the team?..?...
Sounds strange, but if so, I dont blame him..if they'll go for women and kids they'll go for current players, the scummy twats..

You'll NEVER beat the Arsenal!!

He could be a future Arsenal star and kids who look up to him would think it's ok to carry a wepon to a match  i don't care for 'if it's good enough for a spurs fan, it's good enough for a gooner to carry one' we are better than that.
I slag of players like John Terry and Wayne Rooney for shouting and swearing constanly at a refs because kids think its alright to even in little leagues now but this is far worse and embarrising.
Players unfortunatly are 'superstars & role models' and need to act in an apprpriate way.
