HOW DID YOU COME ABOUT SUPPORTING ARSENAL?

I was taken to Arsenal v Coventry in 1977 as a 6 year old and was hooked straight away. It was the only decent thing my useless tosser of a father did for me.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU SUPPORTED ARSENAL?

33 years

WHEN WAS YOUR FIRST GAME?

See Above

WHO WAS YOUR ARSENAL HERO AS A KID?

Liam Brady. I cried my eyes out when he left for Juve

WHERE DID YOU SIT AT HIGHBURY?

Stood on North Bank

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE GAME?

A really hard one this but I think Arsenal v Newcastle cup final in 1998. I couldn't get a ticket via the club as a silver member but got one eventually. I never thought I'd ever see us win the double ever and was ecstatic especially as I was there. Anfield 89 is probably our finest ever moment though.

TELL US ABOUT WHEN YOU MET AN ARSENAL PLAYER?

Junior Gunners Xmas Party in the early 80's. I was completely in awe and could barely speak.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE HOME SHIRT AND AWAY SHIRT?

The yellow 1971 Cup final shirt and the 1970's home shirt before sponsors came along.

WHAT WAS YOUR BEST MEMORY OF HIGHBURY?

So many, being part of the middle/topside in the mid 80's when the terraces were far more fun than the dross we were watching on the pitch.

WHAT IS THE FUNNIEST CHANT YOU HAVE HEARD AT AN ARSENAL GAME?

Your just a Scottish Jew chant that we used to sing at Spurs when they were worshipping Archibald.

WHERE DO YOU SIT AT ASHBURTON GROVE?

No one place to be honest as I can't find anywhere that I like enough to settle.

The Premier league trophy on display having just won the league and I was part guarding it. Overmars was the guest player and whilst the mayor was talking. Marc looked at me and nodded towards the trophy and said "you like?"
How the fuck to you answer that! Of course I fucking like the Arsenal winning the PL and standing next to the trophy! :banghead:
Although I think I said "Yeah, sure!"

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE HOME SHIRT AND AWAY SHIRT?
91 Home, 89 Away.

WHAT WAS YOUR BEST MEMORY OF HIGHBURY?
Doing circuit training around the pitch and doing 'steps'* on the clock end and northbank

HOW DID YOU COME ABOUT SUPPORTING ARSENAL?

The first shirt my mum and dad bought me was West Ham. When I was about 6, a kid came in wearing an Arsenal shirt on non-uniform day, so I decided I would be an Arsenal fan from then on.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU SUPPORTED ARSENAL?

Since I was 6, so nearly 22 years

WHEN WAS YOUR FIRST GAME?

Nottingham Forest at home, when I was about 11

WHO WAS YOUR ARSENAL HERO AS A KID?

Ian Wright, Bergkamp later on

WHERE DID YOU SIT AT HIGHBURY?

First couple of times were always East Lower, but it changed to NB Lower (normally east side)

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE GAME?

So many great games, the ones that stick in my mind were, Valencia in the CL (*that* Ray Parlour goal) and Spurs, the day Rocky passed away :(

TELL US ABOUT WHEN YOU MET AN ARSENAL PLAYER?

Went to the hotel the team go to after training (Sopwell Hse?) and met all the players there, got all the autographs etc :) Think I was about 14/15

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE HOME SHIRT AND AWAY SHIRT?

Home shirt... 1950s (had the TOFFS replica, but lost it when I moved house :( ) . Away shirt, 1989

WHAT WAS YOUR BEST MEMORY OF HIGHBURY?

Pre-match build up. Also, being able to drink a beer and have a smoke in my seat.

WHAT IS THE FUNNIEST CHANT YOU HAVE HEARD AT AN ARSENAL GAME?

Chim Chimney, Chim Chimney, Chim Chim Cheroo, Who needs Anelka when we've got Kanu (ironic, seeing as Kanu was normally shit). Tony Adams' magic, he's got a magic nob, and when he saw Caprice, he stuck it in her gob. He stuck it in her fanny, he stuck it up her bum, and then he went to WHL and fucked Glenn Hoddle's mum.

WHERE DO YOU SIT AT ASHBURTON GROVE?

Normally block 24, as close to the back and the railings by the away fans as is possible.

HOW DID YOU COME ABOUT SUPPORTING ARSENAL?

My Dad - i'd have been thrown out the family if id chosen anyone else

HOW LONG HAVE YOU SUPPORTED ARSENAL?

All my life, turned 26 this year.

WHEN WAS YOUR FIRST GAME?

Arsenal 1-1 Oldham, Wright equalised from the spot after some fat git scored!

WHO WAS YOUR ARSENAL HERO AS A KID?

Wrighty

WHERE DID YOU SIT AT HIGHBURY?

Started off in the West Stand, but moved to the North Bank Lower and saw most matches there.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE GAME?

The best game I personally attended is an unusual choice, a win against Charlton 5-3 at Highbury - Henry was unplayable that day and it was after Vieira had been sent off twice in two matches previously - que a massive "don't leave Patrick" banner in french, he scored two himself that afternoon after we went 1-0 and 3-2 down. I also remember Paul Merson coming on as a sub after all his problems against Leciester, massive cheer for him.

TELL US ABOUT WHEN YOU MET AN ARSENAL PLAYER?

Afraid the closest ive come to "pressing flesh" was Ian Selley - he broke his leg an hour later, im a curse!!!

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE HOME SHIRT AND AWAY SHIRT?

Home - 94/95 Home, not sure why - think it was the Ronald Mcdonald socks!!!
Away - the Gold strip we were never beaten in / Bruised Bannana - very tough call.

WHAT WAS YOUR BEST MEMORY OF HIGHBURY?

Being in the West stand as we lifted the Trophy unbeaten, the last game il ever go to with my Granddad, can't top that moment. I also remember some guy who always sold Charity Scratchcards in the West Stand in the mid 90's - i never won a bean mind!!!

WHAT IS THE FUNNIEST CHANT YOU HAVE HEARD AT AN ARSENAL GAME?

Can't say ive heard too many really funny ones!! The first time i heard the Ashley Cole / Lilly Allen song it was funny, it was the 999 times i heard it after it bored me.

WHERE DO YOU SIT AT ASHBURTON GROVE?

Sat all around for Carling Cup and Emirates Cup, sit upper "South Stand" for Prem / Champs league games.
