WORLD CUP STANCHION THREAD
WORLD CUP STANCHION THREAD
Not expecting too many replies on this subject but so far I have been very disappointed.
Standard Euro style nets with no imagination.
At present S Korea V Greece is on and I have to say that these stanchions are the worst yet.
The corners sag to a ridiculous degree. Sort it out groundsman!!!

Me and Dad still refer to the stanchions and stonchions to this day!!
Would'nt it be interesting if Arsenal changed something about their goalposts, change of net colour didnt go down too well against Glazier FC, but was used again in Brazil vs Ireland. Possibly a different type of net or deeper nets?
