If you are visiting my fair city of Dublin over the next two or three weeks be very careful.... two of the city's biggest drug dealers (brothers) were gunned down a couple days ago and their gang have vowed vengeance.
These are the type of scum that will fire at a rival scum bag in a packed shopping street.
There are cops everywhere, the atmosphere in the inner city is tense to say the least. Last time a big name was whacked the tit for tat killings claimed about 20 people in a couple of months.

Ah yeah I'm fine, just had a quiet weekend with the wife and kids at the beach. We live a good bit away from the two main trouble areas and we stay out of the city centre most weekends especially when this shit is going on. For the most part Dublin is fairly safe if you stick to the main shopping and tourist areas.
The problem is the dealers don't care who gets caught up in the crossfire.
A couple years ago an innocent young painter was murdered bacause he happened to be painting a dealer's house when his rivals whacked him - they killed the painter too so there'd be no witnesses... the painter's assistant only survived because the painter had sent him to the shop for coffees about 5 minutes before the killers arrived.
