ROBIN VAN PERSIE 10!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

ROBIN VAN PERSIE 10!

No, this isn't a bloody wind up!

It seems very apt having a class Dutchman in the 10 shirt.

Oh and Vela is now number 11 but I really couldn't care about that.

Good. There's something godly about a Dutchman wearing Arsenal's number 10.

I heard it's because Suarez wouldn't sign unless he got #8. And Nasri wants #14.

Anyone who has pre-ordered or bought the new Arsenal shirts with ‘Vela 12' from Arsenal.com can return their shirt to exchange it for one with the updated number. Proof of purchase will be required.

Who has done this? Own up!

Vela to get more starts then and no more strikers to be brought in methinks :duh:

Sounds plausible to me! Suarez #8 it is on the back of my new away kit!

Not sure how I feel about all this number changing.....a lot of people (esp kids) would have shirts with the previous numbers on it and you just know that kids will want new shirts with the proper numbers on then now which is unfair on parents.

By the way any chance theo could return to southampton while he is at it so that we can get our money back ? Surely the guarantee hasnt expired yet ?

Thanks for the info. Bought two shirts last night from JB Sports as cheaper than Arsenal.com so missus calling them now to get 11 changed to 10.....

The other shirt has 27. I guess Eboue hasn't changed?

I hope so, I doubt the Somalian pirates will be able to return their motor boat to the club for a replacement.

Haven't the club said that they will change any shirts ordered with the old number for free?

Looks like somebody just wants to moan . . .
