Eboue

Post by lb7 »

Im sorry if this upsets people but Eboue is not good enough to play in midfield! With Big Bad Bacary playing out of his skin at right back i can't see where Eboue will get a game?If a right back is needed then Justin Hoyte or Lassana Diarra could fill in?We also have a great young right back talent coming through in Abu Ogogo? So what do we do with Eboue?

Doesn't upset me at all as many people on here know!

He is a useful squad player at best abd at worst a squealing tart that makes Arjen Robben look tough!

Eboue wing wizard.....yeah right oh!

:?

Have to agree I'm running out of patience with the guy!

Everytime he gets touched he flaps around like a fish out of water and rather than get back on his feet and chase back hard he feels the need to lie down or protest to someone for five minutes about it!

I wouldn't mind as much if he was an amazing player but he simply isnn't! Good wingers can make or break a team i.e. bobby, freddie, overmars etc etc I'm sorry but Eboue just doesn't quite fit into that list.

Show us your January Wonga Wenger! Eboue out for 2 mill, 12 mill right winger in, only 10 mill spent - we all know you can afford it now

Didn't play well yesterday, but I think we need him as a squad player. Can cover right back and midfield, but when everyone's fit should be used as an impact player off the bench..running at tired legs is Eboue at his best..

While Walcott continues with inconsisitency, there must be a place for Eboue, granted he aint gonna get back in at right back if Sagna is fit, but he still a better player than Hoyte in that position.

Didnt I say in the summer that playing eboue on the wing was just a cheap way out of signing a much needed winger ? To be fair to the guy he aint a winger and we can knock his defensive abilities all day long but he is a full back whether he is good enough or not. I still seriously doubt our ability to compete for the necessary players to fill these positions no matter what the end of year accounts appear to say so I think you are stuck with him I'm afraid. I fear that the decision to play him on the wing is seriously hindering the development of walcott if it is true that at this stage of his career wenger sees the wing as his position. I mean how is the lad to improve playing the odd 15 or 20 minutes here & there ? While bedtner was able to go out on loan last season to aid his development we are not going to send a kid that cost us a small fortune out on loan so are we honestly expecting him to improve playing reserve football with very limited 1st team football ? That may have been ok for him last season but at his age he needs regular football or he will end up failing to fulfill his potential which hurts both us and him.

He hasn't adapted but remember it took, what, half a season for Henry to do so? I'm not encouraged by what I have seen but I'll give him till Jan to shape up, if he doesn't, then sure, sell him. With the 70 million transfer budget, I doubt affording a replacement, if Arsene thinks it will leave us short at right wing, and a left midfielder.

He's not been on much with Sagna doing so well
At first he done well on the right midfield as he can bring in crosses in faster then if he was at the RB postion
He is very useful & i don't want him to leave just yet as he's done a good job for us & even forced Lauren out of Arsenal (which i knew was happening sooner or later)
Lets hope his recent games which he has played is not what us Gooners will be seeing the rest of the season

Eboue is a great player, his only faults are

A. He can't defend.

B. He can't run with the ball for more than 10 yards without falling over.

C. He rarely puts DECENT crosses into the box.

D. He cries like a baby girl when he's fouled.

E. He is regularly 'injured'.

F. He is.........OH BOLLOX TO THIS, HE'S CRAP AIN'T HE !!!
