would football be more entertaining if

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What would be the English version of that - Morris dancing?

Funnily enough, I could picture Frank Lampard doing the haka - don't know why...... 8)

yeah teams doing hakas b4 matches would be funny .. and could make games more interesting and fired up ...

would be:
-- impressive to see big or tough-guy types doing the haka
-- will be laughable to watch guys like hleb and the other 'feeble' types

:P

Just imagine how many of our team would get injured just doing the Haka

I think our lads are more likely to do YMCA than anything

What's the best about the Haka is seeing teams do things which insult the Kiwis and their Haka ritual!

Really fires the Kiwis up and makes for an interesting opening to matches...

- Australian rugby team turned their backs to the Haka. Later described it as the 'hardest opening 20 mins of a rugby test in a career.' by some players.

- The Irish walked right into the haka one time many years ago...

- O'Driscoll (apparantly) raised his arm as a mark of disrespect during the haka and this happened ten metres off the ball:
