the celtic fan who ran onto the pitch
dose he deserve wathe got a court hearing on tuesday, and banned from every celtic game for *dunno how long* but think life, all he done was ran on the pitch sed unlucky dida and tapped him on the shoulder tghen dida made chse then fell to the ground like a pratt!!
i dont think he deserves lifetime ban *if thats wat it was* and a court hearing, a ban for the season maybe with a fine, but aint they takin this a bit too far, all he was, was a passiionate fan who was heading for the exits then saw his team score to beat the europeon champions and ran onto the pitch, causing no harm, unless ur dida, just wanted to what every1 elses point of view is.....
excuse the grammer and spellin cba to change and correct it all.
also if u think they r takin it to far wat do u think should happen, and has ne1 on here ever ran onto the footy/rugby/sporting venue centre stage or pitch?

Exactly like Geroge Best back donkey years ago with the guy wanting abit of his hairrebel gooner wrote:of course he should be banned![]()
fu*kin muppet running onto the pitch..
what if he had a knife![]()
theres a reason why its a crimal offence to go on to the field of play
Sometimes when we score a winner in the last min i feel like running onto the field joining in but those days are over when the bans weren't around, i know if i did run on the Grove grass i would be barried for life with Arsenal taking in money from someone else as they would leave me cold & one of there loyal supporters gone
I don't like the way Dida went down though
The man was a fool, he must have realised that he would end up being banned. Dida's reaction was appalling but the fan deserves the ban.stats wrote:Exactly like Geroge Best back donkey years ago with the guy wanting abit of his hairrebel gooner wrote:of course he should be banned![]()

I can understand the passion of the fan and sympathise with him, a life's ban is very harsh punishment but I can also understand Celtic's reaction, they're protecting themselves, they could possibly be stripped of the hard earned points they gained even if that twat of a keeper totally overreacted and acted like he'd been shot, he knew exactly what he was doing
Let's hope UEFA don't also overreact and take the points from Celtic who don't deserve that.

No doubt what the bloke did was stupid however he was probably pissed up and got over emotional, come now thats happend to us at least once. I think a life time ban is harsh if he slaped the guy on the street he would just recive a fine.
As for Dida what a W**ker if he was in the street i doubt he would of gone down like that, he should be mad to appologise for what he did and the way he acted as should the geezer the TAPED him on the cheak.
If Dida had of hit back do you think he would of been punished? I some how think he wouldn't off!

Yes he certainly went down like Swindon
but if you consider that the last time he did it, when he was hit by that flare, Milan were awarded a 3-0 win, and altho it's beyond doubt that it did hit him it looked a lot worse than it actually was cos it bounced straight back off him, and yet he was was probably given the freedom of the city afterwards, so it's hardly surprising - unfortunately

Understandable that Celtic reacted they way they did, and they're at fault for allowing the fan to get onto the pitch, but a life ban is harsh. If he'd been one of hundreds who'd invaded the pitch he would have been chucked out, and no life ban, he was just unlucky enough to be on his tod.
But I wonder if these life bans really are life bans. I bet a good few of them get completely forgotten. Not like the banned fan would show off that he's got back into the ground.
Fucking Dida though, what a complete twat. I remember thinking he made a meal of it when the flare hit him in the Milan derby game but fucking hell, has the man got no shame??! A 6'3" athlete rolling around after a feather light touch on the cheek - and they wonder why footballers are treated with such disdain.
