3rd goal def not his fault. 2nd one you could say that he looked poor on tho you could also argue that he was going the other way and couldnt adjust in time. The first goal was an absolute 'mare to concede and highlights a rashness to his decision making which supports the views of those of us that dont feel he is good enough as things now stand

Was just saying to a friend whilst talking about his comments on Friday that I was amazed he was even in the Italy U-21 squad.

I will be absolutely amazed if he makes it here I really will.

Not good enough, never will be good enough. He's dropped enough clangers at reserve level and after his couple of Hollywood saves at the Cottage we saw the real Mannone at Upton Park

Get rid

Is it possible that our goalkeeper coaching is a load of shite, or is it just a lack of investment? It does seem to me that goalkeeper is a hard position to fill on the cheap.

agree too. never looked like the real deal to me.

the only talented keeper in our squad at the moment is szczesny.

BG please explain how you know this, and tell me what he has done to earn this accolade. :banghead: I have only seen 45 minutes of the guy, and he was well, lets be honest he was "pretty shite".

Szczesney had a good loan spell at Brentford and he won the latest crossbar challenge.

Would like to see him go on loan to a Championship club this season.

He conceded an awful lot of goals Quartz, now I'm not saying he won't make it, but still has a lot to learn.
I would have liked to see him earn his spurs (oops) in a similar way to joe hart, ie at another prem club.
The problem is I don't think there is a prem club with a first choice goal keeping problem critical enough, to force them to risk the likes of Scez taking a first team role.
Oh yesI forgot there is 1, but that would be a last throw of the dice, which if it went wrong, would be catastrophic for Wenger.
