You've got a (relatively) juicy story about a nobody who has become a household name overnight thanks to a tv "talent" show...
The press are calling at your door and on the phone. Photographers are parked outside your house, and The Mirror have even published a photo (taken without your knowledge) of you in their shitty rag.
And why? because you have 'history' with a z list celebrity who will be a nobody again very shortly
Your story is (relatively) negative and will certainly not help this person win the competition (assuming there's a public vote?). It's a person from your past, and you've not seen them for years.
Offers have been made for your story. So, would you? and for how much money would you be willing to sell your integrity for?

If it's a friend then I wouldn't bother.
However, I'm sure this person (obviously in theory) would have a PR person and the news could be broken after they're dumped out of X-Fact....the 'talent' show. I'm sure they'd appreciate especially if they're also getting a cut.
